Hi everyone. I'm traveling to Italy for vacation on the 14th May and the reports I'm seeing about EES are concerning. Long lines, hours of waiting, and people even missing flights...
My specific questions are
Does it really take hours to pass the controls at the airports?
2-hour rule used to be comfortable with time to spare. Is that still enough, or should I plan to arrive earlier?
The stress around this is real, especially seeing that staff at borders are still adapting to the new system. It doesn't seem any faster than before. If anything, it's worse.
