Where to get meds traveling abroad without insurance

Hi, everyone. So I’m quitting my career and going abroad to do volunteer work and write the novel I’ve wanted to write for years. I want to live for myself & be free. However, I’m concerned about getting medications. I’m not going to have insurance & wish there was a way to just buy it over the counter. I’m on methazolamide because I was sensitive to diamox but I would go back on diamox if it was easier to obtain.

Any ideas? I don’t know when I’m coming back to the states & haven’t had a regular neurologist for years. I just get prescriptions through my primary doctor, but I’m leaving and won’t be able to go. I’m pretty lucky as far as symptoms go. If I take my meds I don’t get terrible migraines. But I don’t want to go off of them or not have some handy in case of high pressure.

Any advice?
