Came across a weird phenomenon on Instagram today. For context, I am a fan of western animation and so generally I get recommended posts pertaining to that, but today after work I noticed every other reel on Instagram has involved the recent animated film based on the 1945 George Orwell novel Animal Farm. They all seem to be posted by accounts that either have the name of the studio (Angel Studios) within them, some mention of Animal Farm directly in the title, or just are generic "movie clip accounts" that post conservative leaning political material for some reason??? Not all, but a decent chunk of the memes I've seen by these pages also involve like captions about alcoholic fathers???? I'm wondering if this is just a me thing or if anyone else is also experiencing this. Both of the ones pictured are apparently from the same account but just some examples of the kinda posts I've been getting.
