The question was: \*\*How should I approach my book writing?\*\*

Context: I have been trying to write a book. Nothing too ostentatious but I have advanced very little, I just either don't seem to find the time or if I do I find myself falling asleep or too tired to type.

According to what I know the cards mean

1: the current situation

2: guidance on how to approach it

3: what I should or shouldn't do

4: Obstacles

5: results based on things as they are.

And yeahhh ouch. 🥲

My take:

1: \*\*Reversed hanged man\*\*, the situation is that things are restraining me or keeping me from writing but I refuse to let go of my project.

2: \*\*Ace of wands\*\*, will power. JUST DO IT, basically. Will power start and start now.

3: \*\*Nine of swords l\*\*, don't let my anxiety take root, I should work on it for the sake of it not because I feel I would fail

4: \*\*seven of cups\*\*, beware unrealistic goals I guess? Better do some than dream big and do nothing?

5: \*\*10 of swords\*\*, I'd I keep doing nothing I'll just kiss goodbye the book project.

I think. Maybe. Thoughts? These feel like a grim landscape.

Hi, so, long story short, some years ago a friend lent me her tarot book that I really liked.

I took notes about it but to my horror I've found that they were lost when I moved from my place and I am no longer in contact with this friend.

I have some memories about it though, I was wondering if the wonderful community of reddit could help me in this treasure hunt.

It had a greenish cover, but I know that changes through editions.

I really liked their analysis of the minor arcana however, It spoke about each number as steps on a path. Starting with 1 (ace) being a seed, a start, number 2 was preparation or gestation, 3 was action, a burst of creativity without control nor experience, so on and so forth.

It split the numbers between evens being receptive and the odds being active. From 2 to 5 being the land, 7 to 8 being heaven while the 4 to 7 were man kind... Does this ring a bell to anyone?

This is the text but I'm not a native speaker so I may need some clarification

>>> Magical Detection. You can cast the Detect Magic and the Detect Poison and Disease spells with this trait. Starting at 3rd level, you can also cast the See Invisibility spell with it. Once you cast either spell with this trait, you can't cast that spell again until you finish a Long Rest. Intelligence is your Spellcasting Ability for these spells, and you don't require material components for them

This part is the one I'm struggling with does "once you cast EITHER spell with this trait [...] You can't cast THAT spell again till you finish a LR"

Does that mean:

A) you can cast each spell ONE time per long rest?

Or

B) you can cast ONE out of the three per long rest?

So I decided to try to make a read for me and my BF today, as it is the first day of our week vacation together that has been years we wanted to have. I was pulling the cards for something light heated but yeesh!

I have been trying to make heads or tails of this for a bit but It doesn't make sense to me. We are in high spirits very in love and so relief to have time for us oppart from really strenuous duties we have to take back at home.... So, my boyfriend pulled the page of cups, the reversed king of pentacles and the devil. I picked the reverse 7 of wands, the reverse king of swords (yesterday I picked the queen of swords as my card, crazy), and the hermit.

I want to think maybe my bf still feels bound to our duties back home and this retreat to me is to isolate? We have been spending so maybe that's the reversed king of pentacles bit I just can't crack the others and even less as a together idea.

(Edit: this is Oriens Animal Tarot btw!)

So, I'm making a character that is a soldier, he is an "average guy" sent into a quest to bring back the sun and supposed to seek for a Dragon (DM told me I will eventually get a pet dragon?) I don't know if I want to go paladin because I was leaning more to the "average guy" but I can be persuaded. Maybe Ranger for the dragon thing? Or just good ol' fighter. I'm not sure. Campaign is going till level 15
