I helped a guy for an hour. He blocked me mid-sentence. Here's how we got her
So I had a fever the whole day yesterday and woke up at 12:50 AM feeling slightly less like a microwaved corpse. (Asia server). I figured I'd finish my dailies real quick and crawl back into bed. Easy plan. Foolproof. What could go wrong?
Mid commission, a co-op request pops up. Now, I usually decline these requests, because my co-op history is basically a horror anthology. But tonight I thought, eh, probably just wants some flower or something. And if not, then I've got an excuse to stay up past my fever bedtime
exchanged greetings. The guy asks for help fighting strong enemies in his world while he hunts Nod-Krai chests. Sure thing i said I finish dailies, add him, hop in to his world
The strong enemies turned out to be standard elites. Cleared them. Then he goes follow me except this guy does not know how to use his compass. Like at all. I'm watching him wander around like linnea did her trailer.
So I, on my PHONE mind you, i start tab switching between Genshin and the interactive map found a precious chest. Few common ones. Then we go for an underground chest, but it's being elusive, so I tab out AGAIN, even pull up a YouTube video for the exact location, and in my fever-addled brain I accidentally close the Genshin tab.
Disconnected. Magnificent.
I reopen the game, see his message, apologize, explain I'm an idiot who closed the wrong tab. He's super chill about it: "no problem, it's okay." Wholesome interaction. New friend unlocked, maybe?
I rejoin his world. Type out: did you find anything while I was gone?
This man blocks me mid-sentence.
His chat bubble just poofs out of existence. I'm sitting there like wait, did HE disconnect this time? Or my internet been shitty as usual? Nope. Auto return to my world. checked friends list gone. Recent co-op players gone Like He literally blocked me after I helped him for an hour.
This man speedran the betrayal allegations. I helped him for an HOUR. I was his unpaid tour guide, his bodyguard, AND his interactive map proxy, And he hit me with the block button like I asked him to swipe for Primogems.
I'm already running a fever and this dude's gonna test my immune system AND my emotional stability in one night? Wild.
Anyway, has anyone else been randomly blocked after a co-op session? Or is my luck just THIS bad?
