Description: Lovrboi is a surreal 2.5D action-platformer that blends a hand-drawn 2D "paper-doll" aesthetic with a dimensional 3D world. Heavily inspired by titles like Castle Crashers and Anthology of the Killer, this game places you in the role of a Loverboy. Your objective is to navigate through layers of romantic memories (more levels in development), starting from a foundational inciting incident.
The gameplay features a unique cylindrical world design where players move in a loop. As you progress and explore, you encounter enemies. I’m also experimenting with health-point representation via shader-based health outlines around player and enemies, and physics-enabled decapitations upon death (no blood or gore).
