HELP PLEASE!
Hi all I'm just looking to get some advice on something real quick as it's perplexing me currently!
I cannot find a true ECM, engine loom, full loom, pinout or specific wiring diagram that's a close enough match to mine.
To cut this as short as possible after an array of issues finally getting sorted, injector 1s pigtail was at its end, so I replaced it. I marked what I needed to etc all went swimmingly, until I put the engine cover on and it yanked the wires back out as the clips hadn't fully clicked in (my bad)
Now my issue is, I cannot find a common amongst any of the wires for any injector.
Wire colours as follows: Injector 1 being gearbox side
Injector 1 blue / yellow
Injector 2 brown / orange
Injector 3 red / green
Injector 4 purple / blue
I am going to check with a multimeter later, but there is a lot of confusion when looking around for top tips. At first, my understanding was that neither cable mattered from a polarity perspective, but something told me otherwise. So I researched and researched.... And some more, which then led me to believe that these injectors not only ARE polarity sensitive, but also very sensitive to the signals they receive.
So very simply put... I just want to know which wire is going to which pin in the plug. PIN1 being 'high' wire, do I put the blue wire here, or the yellow one? Common knowledge would suggest yellow going off most wiring diagrams and usage of colours to specify wires usage etc, but apparently this wiring is unique to this car, and they don't coordinate colours the same as most other harnesses...
Just want a bit of advice on this please any bits of advice will be massive help, I can provide pictures etc - when asking Gemini, it reckons I have a spliced/aftermarket/unusual wiring harness for the injectors as it's not the same as most others... To me it looks the same?
