Always grew up with the message that women are to be small, don't take up space, etc and definitely never had anyone talk about women being strong positively. Any good attribute that I was told to have were related to being emotionally and mentally strong, but never physical.
And then I moved to the States and saw just how many physically strong women there are here. My kickboxing instructor is this really buff, strong lady and NOW RACHEL ENTREKIN JUST WON OVERALL AT COCODONA 250??? I just teared up and my inner child just learnt that women can do anything. Be smart, be beautiful, be emotionally and mentally strong, but also strong and fast!!!!!
