Update on the Steam Achievement App I posted about months ago
Hey Guys!
A few months ago I made a post asking if people would be interested in a steam achievement all in one website. I got a good amount of feedback, so first of all thank you to those who responded!
Life kinda got crazy and I was super busy, but I am now actively building a slightly different version. For the first version of the app I am making it as a sort of interactive planner.
In essence you log in with your steam account, have access to all of your games and relevant information (think: hours played, achievement lists, ones locked, etc)
From there you can make an interactive planner that contains different types of nodes to plan out your playthroughs. I have different node types implemented, all that allow you to implement information, link achievements to them, link videos or other media.
From there, your planner is automatically transformed into a route map! A visual representation of all your nodes and their connecting edges. If for example, you made one node a warning node that you must complete task X to continue, this will visually show up on your map. Of course, everything will be persisted so that you can track your progress and revisit later. You can also export the planner and map.
I realize this isn't the most useful thing on the planet, I just like visual tools and love achievement hunting so I wanted to build this for myself and thought I could share it with y'all.
To get to the point: If you are interested in this, please let me know. If you have ideas for refinements or just further questions let me know as well! My next goal after pushing version 1 and getting feedback is to make it a community type thing, people can share their route maps and what they believe to be the best way to tackle a game!
TLDR: Making visual planner website for tracking steam achievements and planning games out, interested? Also any ideas you'd like to see? Let me know!
