My 12 yo nephew playing DS1 blind playthrough.
1 year ago, I gave my 11yo (12 now) nephew DS1 PTDE. He agreed to play a blind playthrough (check link for history). Since then, he transitioned into remastered, and only has Nito left before Gwyn. https://www.reddit.com/r/darksouls/comments/1jui184/so_i_finally_got_my_11_yo_nephew_to_attempt_a/
I did give him instructions in what order to clear DLC - Sif - 4 kings for the special cinematic, while telling him the lore of Artorias and Sif. He felt very bad for having to kill the same wolf he saved... But I wanted him to experience this extremely special part of DS1.
He's now trying to clear Catacombs, and was complaining about the never-ending waves of skeletons respawning. After killing a necromancer, they obviously stopped spawning and he was trying to figure out why, when he suddenly bursted out saying "AHA, IT MUST BE BECAUSE THEY ARE WEAK TO THE LIGHT" tilting his camera upwards.
God I love him experiencing this game. Soon done and onto DS 2!
