When I get things from the store wrapped in plastic or wrap my own with saran wrap, I can detect a tiny bit of the smell of what's inside even though it's sealed perfectly, I know the seal is good because the pastries or cookies don't soggy/soft.

How can the smell escape if moisture can't get in?

I'm taking one of those courses/certificates sponsored by Tamkeen (with a final exam), and I've been busy with work and family lately and haven't studied well for its exam.

What would happen if I didn't pass or failed the course?

Would they ask me to pay the fees or pay out of pocket to repeat it? it costs around BD 800 and I'm a new graduate with almost no money.
