Tips for bringing puppy on a plane?

Hi all! Me and my boyfriend are traveling home to visit family in July and we need to bring our corgi pup with us. We’ve had him for a bit over a month and he’ll be 6 months old by the time our trip comes around. I’m super anxious about him being in cabin with us. He’s pretty good in his crate at night, but during the day he only tolerates short naps and will cry and whine loudly, chew at the bars, etc. if he wants out. I dont want to be one of those people with a loud, crying puppy for the entire flight (even worse if he starts barking/yapping). Anyone with experience flying with puppies have advice? He’s extremely stubborn at times, and I’m worried he’s just not going to settle/tolerate being in a small carrier for that amount of time. We’ll be traveling for a total of 8 ish hours, since we have a layover and an hour bus ride from the airport to my hometown.

Seeds!!

Decided to experiment with growing some seeds, and they arrived today!

I’ve never grown succs from seeds, but the care sheet says to use fine peat moss instead of soil. Is this the best way? Any tips from those of you who have grown from seeds before would be greatly appreciated!

(I went into this knowing they may not germinate, or end up looking like the listing pictures. Don’t worry, I’ve prepared myself for disappointment already 😂)

Update on the desert rose I got from some sweet lady on Facebook! After all the chopping I did to separate all the succulents from the main plant, this is what I’m left with. The elephant bush is huge, so I kept the main three stalks and chopped the rest to root later. They also got a big (and very much needed) root trim.

▲ 3 r/snails

Found this guy when repotting a new plant I got from someone on Facebook. He took a tumble onto the tile since I didn’t see him in the soil and got a crack on his shell. I feel so awful, is there anything I can do? I’ve been wanting a pet snail for a while, but figured I’d never find one, so I’d love to help him out and keep him. He’s currently in a little deli cup with some moist paper towel until I can find something a bit bigger to hold him until the tank I ordered arrives. I have some celery and bell pepper in there but he hasn’t tried to eat. He seems sluggish/isn’t moving and his eyes are droopy, im worried he’s injured or sick. I’ve never had a snail before so I’m not sure if this is normal or if there’s anything I need to do for him?

I want a few more plants for my collection, I want to start getting into the more uncommonly seen/unique ones. Are there places I can reliably shop for them? I’m not against buying imported plants from other countries as all my plants are potted, but I’d prefer within the US if possible! Any recommendations are appreciated, TIA!!
