We recently expanded into a 3,300 sq ft gym that has black rubber flooring. People are constantly tracking in dirt from dusty and dirty shoes, and the footprints are so bad by the end of the week.

At our previous location that was 1/3 the size, our Roomba did just fine. But at this bigger place, with the new flooring, we need something more robust.

Does anyone have recommendations for a wet dry, commercial grade robot vacuum?

In January, my 5 yr cat starting waking us up at 5 am meowing and trying to go outside. He has never done this before and at first we just complied because we were tired, and it seemed random, and we were honestly just annoyed. But it didn't go away....

In March, our other cat, his bonded pair companion, passed away suddenly from a heart condition. Since then, he's gotten worse. He now sometimes starts meowing to go outside at 3:30-4:30 am, and we don't want to go along with this behavior but it won't stop. We don't let our cats outside between 7pm and 6 am.

We have tried locking him out of the bedroom, he scratches and bangs the door. We have tried spraying him with water, does not work anymore. We have tried locking him in another room of the house away from the bedroom, doesn't seem to make him stop.

Now, last night, he decided he would still wake us up, but then run and hide from us so we couldn't put him in the other room. We are at our wits end.

We have had him for 5 years and this has never happened before. He goes in and out during the day and comes in a dinner time. Very well behaved, very reliable on our routine. Great cat, until now.

We will get him another friend as soon as we can, but I am about to give birth in the next 3 weeks, so I need to wait at least a month after that. I tried to find him a young friend, but in our area, kitten season hasn't started yet and there were no cats under a year available that would fit our needs. And now I'm not in a place to take that on at the very moment.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADIVCE FOR THIS BEHAVIOR. Please help, we are desperate.
