Hey everyone, I’m a trader myself and got hit with a massive CPA bill last tax season because TurboTax completely botched my options trades — wrong wash sales, missed assignments, the whole mess.
I’ve been looking for a cloud tool that actually handles this correctly across multiple broker accounts and genuinely can’t find one that works. TradeLog is a 20-year-old Windows app, TurboTax doesn’t understand options at all.
So I’m building it myself. Cloud-based, handles wash sales across all your brokers combined, correctly treats options assignments and Section 1256 contracts.
Quick question before I go further: would you pay around $99/year for something that actually gets this right and spits out a clean Form 8949 you can hand to your CPA or file yourself?

Quick question — does anyone track what % of your revenue comes from your top 3 clients? I lost 25% of my revenue overnight when one client left and I had no warning. Wondering if others monitor this or just wing it.
