Mario cart world rom lost media

I’ve been searching all over the internet trying to find any discussion about Mario Kart World preservation, dumps, or even technical analysis, and it’s honestly strange how little information exists compared to other Nintendo releases.

Usually with major first-party games, especially ones this huge, there are already discussions floating around before release about cartridge data, early copies, preservation efforts, screenshots, or emulator compatibility testing. But with Mario Kart World, there’s basically nothing at all.

No preservation discussions.
No technical breakdowns.
No early cartridge analysis.
No screenshots from people testing hardware.
No major forum posts talking about compatibility.
Nothing.

What makes it even weirder is that smaller Nintendo games sometimes end up being discussed online days before launch, yet one of Nintendo’s biggest system-selling titles feels almost completely absent from the usual gaming and emulation communities.

At this point I’m genuinely curious if the Switch 2 security is just significantly harder to research than people expected, because the silence around Mario Kart World feels unusually different compared to how Nintendo releases are normally talked about online.

I’m trying to add my Ryujinx games to Steam so I can launch them from there and organize them into a collection, but I’m stuck. When I go to “Add a Non-Steam Game” in Steam, none of the shortcuts I’ve already made for my games show up in the list. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if Steam just doesn’t detect them that way. Has anyone here successfully added individual Ryujinx games to Steam? Do you add the emulator itself, or is there a way to add each game separately? If you’ve gotten this working, could you explain how you set it up (like launch options, paths, etc.)? Appreciate any help 🙏
