Why I stopped sourcing locally and switched to Alibaba.
Why I stopped sourcing locally and switched to Alibaba.
I used to source these leather coasters from a local wholesaler for $12 per unit. It was convenient, but my margins were always tight.
One day, I did a reverse image search and found the exact same supplier on Alibaba for $3.50 per unit. Even after factoring in shipping and import fees, my landed cost was less than half of what I was paying locally.
The quality is identical, the packaging is the same, but now my profit margin has more than doubled.
