The missus is a Shein regular, and recently ordered one of those little rectangular belt-clip fans. As one can expect from sub-$10 electronics in general, it's having issues out of the box. The digital readout lights up when it's USB-connected and it appears to be taking a full charge easily, but the on-off button does nothing, and (of course) there is no manual.

I ask merely from morbid curiosity -- is there any odd thing I may need to do with this thing to get it to turn on, or does it go straight to the refund request and the trash bin?
