Decided to wear my SPB111 this Easter Sunday because of its beautiful green enamel dial thinking it a lovely representation of spring. It is cool and lightly raining where I am and the drips on the tin roof are the only consistent sounds and the cool will soon give way to the heat and humidity of a Gulf Coast summer.

The dial of the SPB111 is what drew me to it. It’s not flashy but it has mood and depth. I don’t put this watch upon my wrist often enough. I grab the Garmin to head to the gym or the G-Shock to do yard work and forget that there is real pleasure in sitting on the porch and enjoying a watch that is beautiful and wears wonderfully. Shame on me.
