The implication from this show is that Chinese have an instinctual affinity for concrete
They are like beavers, they feel extreme distress if they aren't building colossal civilian infrastructure projects. They will spontaneously spawn concrete out of thin air if none are available. The concrete must flow.
That's just a genetic racial ability, see.
To be clear, this is NOT true. But I do feel like that's a very funny stereotype.
