Hey all,

Been trying out a few quest mods on creations and nexus. I noticed there's not a lot of reviews for quests so thought this would be useful.

My thoughts so far:

Watchtower: an incredible mod, feels like a second main quest. Characters are interesting, new mechanics and fits well into the lore with a tiny bit of suspension of disbelief.

Basically without spoilers you become the target of a secret organisation and need to build up a fleet to deal with it. Has great battle scenes that really make the most of Starfield engine. Some touching moments along the way and a great follower.

A few downsides: at times it is a little bit rushed, there's some great gameplay loops but the actual quest itself feels a bit short towards the end. Finally the biggest 'issue' is that it takes over your game once you get to the mod which is fun and thematic but doesn't fit into every playthrough.

Crater 87

A fun little mod. Some minor voice acting and a short quest mods with a house as a reward. Not much to say. It made me nostalgic for early Skyrim mods mostly on a good way. I will say it is a little low on content but if you like alien/space mysteries a le Alien it might be worth it.

The Prax Dilemma

Currently playing through this one. I'm really enjoying this one. Apart from a few minor issues with dialogue trees it feels like a part of the game. I love the chance to explore mining in the settled systems more. This is a perfect mod for me specifically as it feels like you are doing a job as a private investigator and is a nice break from blowing up pirates. A solid little addition - looking forward to how it ends.

Going to try playing through Chunks Noir next, anyone tried it?

Any must play quest mods you've tried?
