Is it only me who's get trapped in VIT Counselling midway BITSAT , but to secure seat will pay the fees ....Any Experienced person please tell in steps the process of REFUND if withdraw before joining the college ?

Hey everyone,

I had a doubt regarding VIT counselling and their refund policy.

The counselling for VIT starts quite early, but many other important exams and counselling processes (like JEE Advanced, BITS, etc.) happen after that. Because of this, I don’t really have a safe option right now except to lock a seat in VIT as a backup.

My concern is:
If I participate in counselling, pay the counselling/seat booking fee, and later decide to join another college, will VIT refund the counselling or seat acceptance fee?

Has anyone faced a similar situation or knows the official policy clearly? I’ve heard mixed things, so I’d really appreciate some real experiences or accurate info.
