The cat(f~13) I (31f) am catsitting is breathing quick and shallow even when relaxed, sleeping or purring. She used to be a street cat in Guyane, now indoor only in France for about 5 years.

She's spayed and has no know issue appart from obesity. (She is on a diet and is followed regularly by a vet)

I've never seen anything like it and am curious what could be the cause
