Just like the title says, I filed as soon as I received my W2. I filed online through turbo tax ( I know, not everyone's favorite but it's what I've used for years and it's always been easy for me). I waited the initial 21 days for it to show up in my account (I always choose direct deposit) and then called the IRS. Told me they had my return and at the end of the month if I still haven't received it, call again. Had to call again. Got told the same thing. Now another month goes by and I just received a penalty in the mail. Now what do I do?
