So I went to my local pet store because I needed a new bottle of Seachem Stability, only to find they had gotten a lot of bettas that day from what I saw; it had been a while since they had any.
Being so, I went to see and all of them looked fine and healthy, except this sweet boy. I convinced myself yesterday to not buy him but went to check on him today, and after seeing him really trying to swim and willing to live I just got him and decided I'd try.
The guys at the pet store did tell me he was sick, but didn't offer any advice (they gave me a huge discount btw, from 8.50 to 2.30). I've never dealt with swim bladder issues so I'm clueless on how to go about this.
I ordered Epsom salt and will be arriving tomorrow, as of now he's still in the bag. Do I put him in a 1g or 2.5g tank? Would it be okay if I put him a cascade filter and the heater at 27° C? Any other med or thing I can put in his tank? (I have a few meds and cattapa leaf tea bags)
Any advice will be really appreciated, I really want him to have a chance.
