Maybe it’s the recency bias, but I feel like the new two tracks have more depth, and “silence” between parts.
I was listening to the currently released tracks from FT and Hackney back to back, and the best way I can explain it is that Hackney feels thick and compressed, or more produced, if you will, while the new tracks have more breathing room. Basically, it sounds like an improvement to me.
Am I just bollocking, or does anyone else hear a difference? Just asking because I’m pretty sure both are done by the same producer/engineer duo.
