I recently received an embryo development report from my lab. It shows how each fertilized egg was graded on days 5-7. One of my fertilized eggs went from an EBII on day 5 to an EBIII+ on day 6. It then arrested on day 7.

I know that "EB" stands for "early blast" but what do the roman numerals and + sign indicate? There is a key on the bottom of the report that says "Grade III = two of Gr II conditions, MNB>2 and/or Grade III on day 1"--but this seems to be a reference to "day 3 scores."
