Parents of autistic kids — how do you know what your child is feeling when you're not with them?

I've been speaking with autism families and one thing breaks my heart every time I hear it:

Therapists see our kids for 2 hours a week. But there are 166 other hours — at home, in the car, before bed — where so much happens that no one ever sees.

I'd love to hear your honest experiences:

• When your child has a meltdown, do you usually see it coming — or does it hit out of nowhere? • Have you ever felt like you were "walking on eggshells" because you couldn't read what your child was feeling? • What do you wish your child's therapist actually knew about what happens at home? • If you could know your child's emotional state in real time — would that change anything for you?

No product, no pitch — just a person who genuinely wants to understand your world. Every story shared here matters. 🙏

Me and my friend have been friends for 6 years. There’s mutual attraction on both sides, but the connection has never been fully defined or acted on due to timing, priorities, and emotional hesitation.

Own interpretation:There’s genuine mutual connection and chemistry, but it stays in an “almost” stage because both of us keep pulling back instead of fully choosing to define it.
