(Trigger Warning: bloody stool)
I adopted a 3.5 month old maltipoo this past Saturday. We took him to the vet the next Monday and they tested his stool and diagnosed him with Giardia. They sent us home with a puppy pack the same day and yesterday they sent us with 2 other medications. This morning he vomited 3 times, and passed bloody stool 3 times... I mean like it was dripping from his bottom!! I called the vet and they said it’s just the dewormer working and flushing his system. Any opinions or advice of what I can do to help him? He barely started the additional 2 meds. Part of me questions if what the vet saying is accurate. He’s still energetic and playful I just feel bad:(
