Can I go to Fanime con in San Jose without a ticket?
Hii~ I just recently moved to Cali and was planning on going to Anime Expo, but I only just found out Fanime exists!!
I mostly love cosplay + just walking around and seeing everyone’s outfits/photoshoots. I’m not super into panels or buying stuff from artist alley, so I’m wondering if there are any areas at Fanime where people without tickets can still hang around? I totally understand I wouldn’t be able to go inside the actual convention areas.
I was thinking of maybe going for one Saturday, but $75 for a single day feels a little hard to justify if I’m mostly there for the cosplays 🥹 I’d also be going solo, so I’m still trying to figure out if it’s worth it for me. I’ve been to some cons before where there were public/common areas people could still enjoy without a badge, so I was wondering if Fanime is similar at all?
