Hi everyone! I am currently a senior in HS, and I got in early to UGA and got in conditional to tech. I am majoring in biology on the pre-dental track. I am still deciding whether or not I should transfer to tech or not. I have been told that UGA is better for pre-healthcare, but I know that GT is a better school overall. I also love GT's campus so much and would love to experience going to school in ATL. I am having trouble deciding whether it would be a good idea to transfer or not. Please help!

I am currently going through a dilemma. I got into UGA early for biology, and got conditional to Georgia Tech, meaning I can go my second year. I am pursuing a career in dentistry, and am deciding whether or not to transfer to GT my second year. I know that UGA is probably better for my major, but GT is an overall better school and there are great research opportunities. I also like the idea of going to college in the city. In really do like UGA so much, but I know I also want to experiecne college at GT. What are the downsides of transferring to GT and do you think it's a good idea? Please let me know!
