Does anyone here have experience with this situation? I’m kind of stuck and not sure what to do.

I applied for my EAD with normal processing on Dec 23, 2025. I later received an RFE for biometrics, and my appointment was on Apr 10. I uploaded the requested RFE documents on the same day.

Recently, I got a job offer with a joining date of May 26. After receiving the offer, I applied for premium processing on Apr 22.

At this point, I’m not sure if I should wait another 10 days and hope the EAD gets approved in time, or if I should already talk to HR and request a later joining date.

Would really appreciate any advice or if anyone has gone through something similar.
