Hireright apparently was unable to verify employment despite me giving them the contact info. As a result the case went to the hr department at google where they have asked me to send them an offer letter AND a recent paystub. WTF?

So the question I'm asking is how do I exactly generate a payslip. My past company is a small little known regional company but I was laid off from there over 1.5 years ago. But I kept "present" on my resume and said I was working there with the recruiter.

Would one of those paystub generators online work? What exactly do I need to leave on and what to redact?

I have 1 year of experience so apparently I was wrong. It was not bait and switch. They are also allowing telework for a month or so until you can move to Washington dc you just have to change the locale on the pay grade, so you may be paid slightly less or more.

Funnily enough they still have no idea what I'm going to be doing. They're going to "pitch" projects across multiple teams apparently.

Alot of them are former doge officials/ members.
