Am I at a dead end?
I feel like I’m at a dead and nothing is going anywhere with this house. Back story: I signed in a house with my sister and her boy friend during Covid . Her boyfriend and I are on the mortgage loan and three of us are on the property tittle. An incident happen a couple years ago and I wanted out this business and sell the house. They’re very stubborn to communicate with and whenever we discuss about it in person it doesn’t go anywhere.
Recently my sister visited (they live out of state) and she agrees to sell but not her boyfriend. I already went to a lawyer and cannot afford one atm. Realtor suggested they assume me but they tried that the first and got denied because they forgot to put a reason. Mind you we never negotiated a buy out agreement, so I don’t think they even understand the process even though my realtor explained it to her. They want to try assuming it again and I’m already fed up. With the amount of equity that’s in this house i don’t think they can afford to buy me out. My wife offered to buy them out but they disagree. Am I at a dead?
