I've recently started a pirate run and I've been having a lot of fun, specially hailing my victims and threatening them to drop their cargo. Big downside is, once your reputation hits the toilet hard enough, they just flat out refuse to answer the hails, I understand that not wanting to talk to the local bully is a thing, but when the said bully is pointing a .50cal at your nose, it should be enough to maybe reconsider the validity of this position.

So is there any mod aiming towards making this more feasible ?
