For Context:

I(21M) recently am about to start a Gap Year in Community College, Life unfortunately hit real damn hard as I lost interest in my Major (Graphic Design), My Ex did me dirty which left me with a whole lot of issues on my own and recently my family has come under bad circumstances as my dad is dealing with chest problems and has to see a doctor.(he was the main money maker between all the ppl in my family as he was a bus driver)

So far I’ve considered going back for Business as it seemed the most Versatile, and with my experiences working in retail I could get a solid career out of it in a few years after graduation.

The other option was I.T as that’s also another major many artists end up flocking too but I’ve heard that market has been full of many people also trying to get a job for it.

Nursing is somewhat on the board as the college I go to is considered the best in the state, but I’ve had a lot of family members who went into it and got burnt out due to trauma and all the shit they gotta deal with. Plus all the horror stories too I was told over a campfire with modelo’s convinced me it ain’t worth it unless your dedicated.

The two last options I’d consider wasnt college related but becoming a full time groundskeeper as I’d worked as a Seasonal helper and loved it, or becoming a mechanic and working on cars.

I’m stuck on a career to choose to support my life and hobbies and I don’t want to waste my chance at college and end up struggling for the rest of my life or upset I didn’t finish it
