I ordered the Ecovacs X12 Omnicyclone, while waiting for it to arrive, I just wanna ask if it's true that I have to 'robot proof' my home. I've heard carpet fringe is something that robots don't really like, so I'll probably either set a no entry zone there or just tuck it under the carpet, we'll see... What else should I watch out for? I think the new model should recognize cables but I'm not sure if it can see cables under the sofa. I have a lamp next to the sofa, but the outlet is on the other side, so the cable kinda has to run along the floor. Curious to hear how others set up their homes for robots. 🙂
