Hey guys,
So I just moved to an iPhone 16 from a pixel 6 (4 year old phone) and found some things very strange that I hadnt heard of before switching. Is this how ios is or am I doing something wrong?

  1. The touch - very often I notice that either some keys on the keyboard or back gesture (swipe from left) just doesn’t register the first 1 or 2 times. Especially around the edges of the screen. I’m thinking a case might help here as I’ll have to be a lil away from the edge but seriously?

  2. iOS is more buggy than android - case in point, I had 2 instances already in the past 24 hours.
    A. When I try to go back on the keyboard to a previous word it gets stuck there when u replace. Need to go back to a precious page and return for keyboard to function again.

B. When rearranging my Home Screen, some apps just froze there, such that even long pressing or anything (while in edit page) just didn’t work. Had to stop and start editing 2 times to be able to move them again..

  1. Is the camera button completely pointless? U find myself switching to the next camera every time u try to press to take picture

  2. No number row or long press for special characters like ?()@ in the keyboard. Yes I know the gestures are there but long press is so much easier.

  3. Is the apple ecosystem just hype now?
I have an iPad and a mac so was expecting more ecosystem things when switching to ios. Except universal copy paste I really don’t find anything that useful. Am i missing something here
