Would you still support the game, if new groups get added, and the current ones begin to "graduate"?

Would you still support the game, if new groups get added, and the current ones begin to "graduate"?

Pic for attention.

I installed this game on a whim last year, because I dig Vocaloid. I even remember thinking I'd just uninstall it if I ever got bored. I never did. I quickly fell in love with the story. I'm gonna sound cringe, but some of the characters feel like I'm looking at a mirror of my past self as a teen. I want to see them succeed and get past their struggles, which hit closer to home than I expected.

So yeah, I'm REALLY invested in these characters, lol. And I'm not sure what I'll think of this game if they ever get replaced.

Their stories feel like they're about to wrap up in a not-so-distant future. But the writers clearly gave their hearts to this, which is impressive considering it probably all started with SEGA capitalizing on the gacha boom of the early 2020s. They proved they were in it for real though, so I trust them to bring that same care to whatever comes next.

That's why I'll probably stick around?? Oh, and the music is a banger too. I love playing around with the 3DMVs.

Aand his is all assuming the current stories ending doesn't mean EoS. This is the second of the two gacha games I've ever played, so idk what typically happens to games like this when units graduate or new ones get added.

I've known Mariang Sinukuan since my childhood, from our local children's books. She was a fairy/forest judge from Mount Arayat.

What I didn't know is that she used to be a be... a male warrior god?

He was named Apung Sinukuan.

Wikipedia says the change was because of the Spanish rule. They hoped that turning Sinukuan into a woman would make people worship her less.

(But the sources mentioned in the Wiki article are dubious and I can't find any direct mentions from their sources' links.)

She was also demoted from a deity to a local fairy. Similar thing happened to Makiling, although this one never got genderbent. Makiling used to be a major goddess.

What was real though from the few trusted sources I've read is that a god named Apung Sinukuan did exist as a chief deity (kinda like Zeus) in Mount Arayat. Something happened along the way, and he... Or now she... Has become the Mariang Sinukuan that we know of today.

I was watching Jurard's Tomodachi Life stream the other day, and he suddenly said these unprompted (?) at the end of it. Genuinely curious what started this. I wasn't really active on many social media, like Twitter and all that.

I'll be deleting this if I'm stirring up any old drama. 🙏

Currently catching up on the series. I thought I'd see them again on Season 3 or something. It felt like they were setup for a later arc.

Googled them up to slightly spoil myself, and apparently, this arc was their last appearance...? Did they really die just like that
