Horizon Nights — built a community site for Forza Horizon players before the new game drops
Hey all
Spent the last few weeks building this. It’s a community site for Forza Horizon — players post cruises with live chat and RSVPs, share photos, post livery/tune share codes, build crews, all that. Covers the last three Forza titles.
Posted it about an hour ago on the Forza subreddit so we’ll see if anyone shows up. Pretty empty right now since it’s day one.
Stack is Next.js 16 on Vercel, Postgres, Supabase for storage and auth. Built the OG cards as dynamic image responses so link previews look on-brand, did a dark festival theme that hopefully doesn’t read as generic SaaS.
The actual hard part wasn’t the tech, it was scoping. Original list had like 30 features. Cut it down to “what does one cruise night actually need” and built outward from there.
Open to feedback on the design, the onboarding (or lack of it), the landing page, anything. Especially curious if it’s obvious what the site is within 5 seconds of landing.
