If you’re a fellow commuter who gets off the 44 and crosses over to Streetsville GO Station, I want your feedback!
As y’all might now, crossing that intersection isn’t really safe.
Queen St. is busy, and it doesn’t have great visibility. It takes a good minute for the 2-way road to clear, and some hope that a car doesn‘t come speeding by from the other side.
With crowds of students moving through it every year, its pedestrian safety has got to be improved!
Which is why I’m currently in contact with the Traffic Signals and Systems department at the City of Mississauga!
I need you to let them know that the current intersection doesn‘t really feel safe.
So here’s what you can do:
- Send an email to: public.info@mississauga.ca, and let them know your concerns about pedestrian safety at Queen St. @ Old Station Road.
