We are riding bikes from Rutherfordton, NC. Getting on the parkway at 221 near Linville Falls. Our plan is to start there and end at Big meadows camp off Skyline Dr. just past the end of the BRP. Would anyone have an idea of how long this is going to take? I’m thinking 7-8 hours but I could be wrong. We will be on motorcycles.
I am planning a trip from NC to NY. Day one we want to take the Blue Ridge Parkway to Big Meadow camp ground in VA. We will get on the Parkway near 221. I am having trouble figuring out timing, from start to the camp site. I know there are still outages on the parkway, I assume that is why Google wont let me add destinations without going crazy. How would you recommend calculating time? I'm really just trying to figure out riding time for day one.
