Wood stove in MAY!!!

Wood stove in MAY!!!

It's COLD for May. Central Heat is OFF. Thankfully, I have a wood stove and leftover fire wood.

I'm in a rock and a hard place.

My 25 year old 5th wheel has finally given up. It's DONE. I'm not fixing it this time.

I keep a seasonal spot in an ocean area.

That seasonal spot is probably not going to exist much longer due to circumstances that no one can control.

I'm looking at a destination trailer that I really like. The only thing that is keeping me from buying is that I'll probably have to move it 100 miles each spring and fall for the next 5 seasons.

Does anyone have experience moving one so often? I certainly don't. I've been around RV's and trailers forever, but I've never once in my life moved a destination trailer after it was installed at a permanent seasonal site. If I ever moved a destination trailer off it's site, it had been there 20 something years and was headed off to the scrapper.

If you do have experience moving one of these big things seasonally, please let me know. (Yes, I CAN move it safely and have access to a vehicle more than capable. I just don't know if it's a good idea.)
