So I am currently leasing Serum/Serum 2 through splice, and I hear that a lot of people are having issues where their DAW says that they arent verified to use Serum 2, and I'm having the same issue. I can use Serum normally on FLStudio, but when I load Serum 2, it says "It looks like Serum 2 needs to be verified for this machine," and I tried to select the "I'm still renting Serum" option since I have two more months left for my lease, but it doesnt let me choose it. The selection is grey and when I click it with Splice open, it does nothing. I deleted splice, fixed my email through Xfer (I originally used a different email while creating my Xfer account, but I just changed it to the email that I used with Splice,) I made sure FLStudio was updated, and everything looks normal, but the problem wont go away. I asked AI and tried to find videos on youtube, and I even searched Reddit to see if anyone encountered the exact same issue, but I dont see anyone have this persistent issue.
Do I just pay the $20 now and own Serum? Would that even fix the Serum 2 issue if I own Serum?

So i have a great PC, but the issue i run into is that i only have 1 monitor right now. i can stream on tiktok just fine since i can see the chat on my screen when i play certain games, but some fullscreen games it goes away. also, the other issue is when i stream on twitch. when i stream on twitch i cant see the chat at all, and i tried to look up some ways to put it on my screen, but none of them seem to work.

i’m wanting to use my laptop that is somewhat strong since its running a good AMD7 core, but i don’t know where to put it on my desk for easy view of the chat, where its not in the way, and also where it might not make my pc or laptop overheat.

i’m sure that this is more of a setup issue but there’s really nothing that i can do to fix my desk or room because i basically have the smallest room in the house. i was just wanting to check and see if there was any last ditch effort ways that i can maybe squeeze my laptop onto here to use it.

if your tip is to move the pc, i will be more than happy to try it out.

i’m just scared of putting it somewhere where it can overheat.
