Hello, first of all sorry if this has been asked before — I know there are probably quite a few posts on this topic, but none of the ones I’ve read fully answered my question.

Right now I’m not planning to buy immediately, but when the time comes I’d be willing to spend up to $7,000 maximum on a new tenor saxophone.

I’m looking to upgrade my current instrument to something better in tune with a brighter sound. What are currently the best brands and specific models for tenor sax?

I’ve mainly heard that Yamaha and Yanagisawa are the top options for this, but I’d love to know which particular models are recommended within that budget.

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
