I just got off an international call with the Department of Test Integrity, and they said that I failed to present a valid ID on test day, and because of that they won't reimburse me for cancelling my test or allow me to reschedule it.

When I pressed them about what term or policy I had failed to attend they pushed back saying that it was a basic requirement, to which I replied with "yes, then can you tell me where that is stated?"

"No, I can't".

On April 21st I was supposed to take the exam, but the proctor told me that since my Brazilian Driver's License had a small tear at the top I wouldn't be able to.

I'm lucky, cause I teach EFL and only wanted to take the exam to better prep my students who have aspirations of international scholarships, guess I'll just be recommending the IELTS then.

Absolutely insane that this is how and organization like ETS behaves. 250 USD down the drain.
