incoming freshman here! thinking of majoring in econs at CAS or transferring into anything at stern if i have the chance - trying to break into the finance/ banking sector in NYC..

what should I do in my first 2 years in LS to maximise my time here so that I can transition down to the finance route smoothly and not fall behind? eg - what classes I should take, clubs I should join etc… Thank you so much!

hey! i recently committed to nyu and will be spending my first year in london. was told that freshmen are required to stay in byron court and i cant find much about the dorms there online so if anyone who had experience with byron please drop a reply to my questions!!!

- how are the dorm sizes (especially doubles or singles as those are my preferences that i chose)

- is it possible to appeal and request to change dorms after being assigned to one?

- how likely is it to get a single

- what should i look out for

or any general experiences u have with dorming in byron! please lmk..

(for context ive never had a roomate before so im kinda nervous about having one soon…)
