Is rheumatologist appointment indicated?
320 ANA titer with speckled pattern and mildy low lymphocytes, anti- thyroglobulin mildly high but T4 and TSH is normal; anti-dsDNA negative. Symptoms: diagnosed with chronic spontaneous uriticaria I have recurrent hives over my knees and knuckles with swelling and burning pain, knee pain is often triggered by standing; excessive fatigue/sleepiness, bitemporal hair loss, chronic GERD, food sensitivies, constipation. I am wondering if CSU would explain the joint swelling/pain and my other symptoms. My PCP agreed to refer but I dont want to go to another appointment if my symptoms have a low likelihood of being significant. My PCP didn’t seem to know a lot about ANA and there isnt a ton of research about CSU causing positive ANA.
