Lyft wage garnishment
Does anyone have any experience or advice on how to deal with this situation? I have already spoke with the California franchise tax board and set up a payment. The agent I spoke with removed the garnishment withholding and sent out an official release form to lift on April 23. My last two payouts confirmed that the garnishment has been taken off because all the funds were paid directly to me with no garnishment yet nothing has changed on my app and I’m still not eligible for express pay or Lyft Direct. It’s been a nightmare. You get little to know responses very little information and the only people that we have contact with have no clue. Seems like support is not really that supportive and all they really care about is getting a good review after the call so they tell you things that you want to hear to try to make you feel like they’re doing things for you but all they’re doing is giving you generic Tele prompt answers and after talking and discussing with over four or five support personnel at the end, the only thing they can tell me is to email wage garnishment at lyft.com which is also pointless to because they don’t respond with any information except for a generic no reply email that has nothing to do with what I’m asking for.
