My friend and I are going on the same flight. I paid for a standard seat when booking and they did most basic fare and got assigned a seat at check in.

They got assigned row 6 an extra leg room seat when my seat I booked and paid for months ago is back of plane aisle and no extra leg room.

For me to move to a middle seat in row 6 I still would have to pay $78 for “extra leg room and complementary premium beverages”.

I am happy that they got a good seat out of their options don’t get me wrong, but make it make sense??? Is it bc they took a gamble on seating lmao. Not to mention I also have the credit card (which I’ve been planning on canceling when my renewal date arrives) and they don’t.
