Greetings weebs, long time lurker first time poster. Currently in CC for an allied health program, semester is coming to a close and long story short I hate it and will be switching.
I am considering either accounting or health IT, I want to switch to something techy and money math oriented. Accounting is broad with clear long term goals and relatively stable took some accounting in high school and I liked it plenty.
HIT program is accredited to sit for RHIT, I would be able to utilize some credits from my current program, despite job prospects in coding/billing being fickle, I work at a hospital and would still get to capitalize on the medical terminology knowledge I've been cultivating.
Just looking for some spitballing, I intend to go for my bachelors after either. Leaning towards HIT but the internet doomslop machine has me inclined to choose accounting as the safer option.
Thanks luvs, good luck out there, brb got crayons to eat.
